Nurse Practitioner, Paul Nathenson, on D-EYE's Usefulness with Patients
"I have always struggled using an ophthalmoscope. I had trouble viewing and I felt it was uncomfortable for my patients with my face so close to theirs. It just seemed like an invasion of personal space. With the D-EYE I can get a good view of the optic disc and surrounding vasculature at a more comfortable distance. I also have the added benefit of sharing what I am seeing with my patients for patient education. This enhances patient engagement which improves the effectiveness of patient education interventions,"
Paul Nathenson, APRN, (Nurse Practitioner), Simple Path Health & Wellness, Lincoln, Nebraska
